At baptism a baby becomes a child of God and a member of the Church. Godparents and grandparents often look for a gift that says that in a sweet, simple way.

My infant bodysuits come in 6, 12, 18 and 24 months, in soft cotton. There are also toddler and kids' tees, so siblings can match. Saint in Training and Future Saint are the favorites, and they suit a baptism, a first birthday, or a godchild's first Halloween.

A few people pair a bodysuit with a small card that has the baby's baptism date and godparents' names. It makes a simple keepsake once they've outgrown it.
