Sacred Heart of Jesus Shirts

The shop is named for the Heart of Jesus, the heart that is merciful to us before we ask. So the Sacred Heart designs are close to my own heart.

The devotion grew from St. Margaret Mary Alacoque's visions in Paray-le-Monial, France, in the 1670s. Jesus showed her his Heart crowned with thorns, burning with love, with a cross above it. The Church keeps the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart in June, and many Catholics keep the First Friday devotion every month. Divine Mercy, from St. Faustina's visions in the 1930s, carries the same message: "Jesus, I trust in you."

If you're new to the devotion, a simple start is the short prayer "Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you," said each morning. A shirt is a small way to carry that prayer with you through the day.
